Matthew Devitt: Copywriter of the Week

So I will admit, I’m a bit late with this one.

Alright, alright - very late.

But between being flat-out writing, planning a wedding, and a global pandemic, it’s been a busy year. You know how it is.

Anyway, early in 2021, an agency I work with, Copywriter Collective, asked if it could feature me as its copywriter of the week.

I thought, “Hmm, let me think about that one for a little bit,” and then immediately said yes.

I was asked to talk about my experiences as a copywriter, expand on why I focus on renewable energy and the environment, and highlight a few of my favorite clients and projects.

And who is Copywriter Collective? Well, it’s a leading copywriting agency founded in Amsterdam in 2002. It represents more than 150 writers (including me) from a broad range of countries and backgrounds, particularly of the English-speaking variety.
